Opinions of Pete rejoining Yellowcard

wow, stop the presses, I12 plays once or twice every two months?? try once or twice every couple years... the kids won't even notice Pete is out of town, as long as he is back for the 2 shows every Christmas, and the occasion summer show, things could be just like they always have been.

so true. and someone said something about alex wanting to leave yc? thats not true, and Same Difference sort of ended when alex joined yellowcard. he wasnt playing shows or anything with SD while with YC.

I think YC is an awesome band... I have a lot of respect for them. It just sucks that Alex had to leave. Now who knows what will happen to I-12. I wish the best for Pete

Wow, ever since warren left yellowcard they have sucked royally. Warren kept yellowcard in line and prevented them from selling out. When he left yellowcard immeditaley turned pop and started sucking it up. All the fans over the age of 20 left yellowcard and the 10 year olds came in. I wish I12 could tour and play more often then they do. They play 5 shows a year max. I also do not understand why Pete would leave Inspection 12 to go place pop music. Pete always talks about how he hates sellouts and people that sound like NFG or Blink. Pete if you leave this masterpiece to go to yellowcard, then your just a major **** up as well as a hypocrite. I wish Scott was still around and I wish james was around as well. Maybe then Pete wouldnt leave, I guess he feels that playing pop music on tv is something you want to do. Whatever, good luck to Inspection 12 I hope they dont dismantle this. Later

hey "wow" you can say all you want about pete being a sellout. but he's going back to a band in which he had a big part in writing their latest album. so if they sound anything like nfg, its because he wrote it like that!

yeah, you're totally right, One For the Kids is not pop punk at all. Dude when they moved to california they jumped the shark or sold out, whatever. do you think they moved out here to become big in the underground? no, they came out here to become megastars. so no, warren did not prevent them from selling out, he was one of them.

what else is a message board for? sharing opinions. no one is forcing. sure, this is an i12 message board, but pete is in yellowcard now, so there is an even closer relation to the 2 bands than there already was. maybe if i12 was a band that gave us something to talk about, we'd talk more about i12. but really, all theyve given us to talk about in the past 6 months is: new album cover, rerelease of get rad in europe and north america, and their pure volume site! obviously pete playing in yellowcard is a bigger deal than all of that. correct my if im wrong?

I ahve a suggestion for everyone (even though I swore to myself I'd never post on the yc lineup change.....damn lack of self-discipline...) how aobut we all collectively put in our Get Rad albums and listen to them.....enjoy.....

you must have totally understood me. all im saying is, since there is a lack of current action with i12, why not talk about the guitar player's other project? i dont have a chip on my shoulder or have any frustrations with the band. you however can twist my words around as much as you want and find a way to talk shit. it makes my day. biatch

Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry. What I meant was that there is a spot on this messageboard for topics not completely involving I12. It's under "et cetera". I don't mind that people talk about it, I just don't understand why anyone needs to argue about it. There's nothing we can do it about.
