Yeah this is getting pretty hectic. I thought some of the things people said on their message board were pretty messed up....check out what this person said.... "After reading what ryan wrote i still think this is bullshit. I remeber at a show before alex was part of the band where pete was gone working on some shit with inspection 12...and i remeber thinking "what the f**k is this guy thinking leaving this awsome band where everything is working out... for some other crap"....this all seems wrong and not yellowcard like " Just kinda funny...I guess they don't know Pete's ties to i12. Anyways, I haven't talked to Dan or anything lately but just to be the first i12 band member to speak, I don't know how this will affect our band. It will obviously affect us in some ways, but I don't think its too bad for now....cuz right now we're all doing our own things and are just playing shows every few months. Now we'll just have to make sure to schedule shows around when Pete's gonna be back in town. As for the future, it really depends on what we decide to do with our band, like where to go with it....who knows what the future holds. the yellowcard board has been pretty lame/messed up for over 2 years. i registered their to post but i decided not to because of the concentrated amount of moronic and childish things posted on there. i think in the 2 years i have been registered i may have posted about 20 times. also most people on that board are more interested in what they look like then music.

As a knower of Pete for many years, I would just like to say "Give'm hell tonight Mosely!". Don't be afraid to go crazy and kick Mr. Eubanks in the balls.

Oh god, there are a heck of a lot more than just 45 pages on that. Maybe like 45 pages per a thread and there are like 10 different threads on the topic. It just saddens me to see how cruel ppl are being on YC's board. Pete is awesome and ppl are judging him based on that they are just pissed that Alex got the boot. They have really been taking this whole thing out on Ryan saying it is all his fault and that he kisses Pete's ass and calling him really cruel and unneccessary names. And people are all pointing fingers at Ryan because he was the one who was given the difficult task of having to post the saddening news. I guess ppl just totally disregarded the beginning of his post saying, "Unfortunately this can only be written by one of our hands, but we were all together when this was written." And now people are saying that Pete is gonna have to prove himself and that he was a disappointment on the Leno show. Pete has more than proved himself. Who played the killer bass that everyone loved on the Ocean Avenue album? It wasn't Alex! It was Pete. And Pete wasn't a disappointment on the Leno show, he killed it! Oh well, maybe one day the people who are posting the rude comments about Yellowcard and their new (re)addition Pete will grow up...

no need to tell us pete rocks
ryan had to put his line about everyone being there when that letter was written, probably because he has a history of being the person who comes up with the idea of kicking members out, or writing songs about old friends. anyways, ryan's little disclaimer seemed to me that it hurt him more, but i guess you didn't see it that way

Some people are just pissed off more at those Yc bitches than Pete really. Alex came in to fill a pretty big void when Pete left to go back to I12. We all read what he wrote as to why he left [he wanted to get "Get Rad" finished up, and he didnt like the Touring/kiddies who dig Yellowcard], but what we all don't understand is, why did it happen the way it happened? Why did it happen, the DAY that they made it onto TRL? Why were they acting like Alex knew he was a temp member of the band?
In that way, yes Pete is looking for money, because he is doing what 2 years ago, he wrote that he would "never do again. It's pure money and you all lie if you say anything else.
Fuck Pete and all of his piano-playing,Bass tapping glory. And a definite Fuck You to the members of Yellowcard.
I can't wait until the day that I hear that this piece of shit band breaks up.
GO Dan and Tim. Get Rad is rockin' still

if you had the chance to make lots of money doing something you enjoyed you would do it. so who can blame pete?

if you had the chance to make lots of money doing something you enjoyed you would do it. so who can blame pete? I think his point was that Pete has said he didn't enjoy playing with YC. I don't know, I think it sucks that Pete is leaving I-12, although it may or may not be for good, because YC isn't anywhere near as good as Inspection 12 are/were/always will be.

i dont follow the yc forum/news to close, but why did alex leave? and i saw them on there recent tour and they rocked, alex played well but i could feel a whole "superficial"fame loving ego vibe about the gig,98% of the crowd(the gig was sold out)were between the ages of 15 to 18,i myself am 25 so i may have been the oldest there.
.alex seemed to be down and i got to chat with them after and they were doing the autograph thang, alex seemed the most human. we all should remember i12 have always been a kinda part time band, they dont strike me as guys who wanna go out and work mega hard on the band,if its unsociable they dont do it,just because theres always been a conection with YC & i12 : they are at two oposite ends of the spectrum, neither end a good one,i12 are beter and i think we all blow it up,honest dons really made i12 bigger if it wasnt for that alot of people wouldnt know them.
as for yellowcard they have plugged away and done the promotion shit and there getting real big now,the problem is i12 arnt into that, and although they like the credit and fanbass we give them, they just dont wanna go out and do it that much ,honest dons was a kinda lucky bit of bad luck.
so we have YC a band making it in the mainstream(good for them)and a band I12 that kinda is still a small town band with a world of fans who doesnt really wanna make it, (good for them?)
so..pete is after all in the mix,hes still young and its all a bit dodgy if you asked me,i love i12 and there music, tim and dan seem reall nice guys, but i dont know em,and sometimes the politics ruins it,maybe i dont wanna know em,this forum is cool but the music is where its at.
we have to realise WE ARE BEING THE PRESS/AND SHIT,when we talk about this stuff, maybe they are all sell outs/ lyers, why look for a reason to stop likeing a band, thats like the same as caring what they look like..
,what you dont know wont hurt you,i just wanna know if i can expect more great i12 music in the future with or without pete..either way each to there own, sell out or not, good luck Pete whatever you do,and the same to i12,dont let us influence your actions... peace...owen

I thought it was interesting what someone said about Ryan's "idea to kick Alex out" somewhat of a good excuse to write new songs.. and that you could only write so many songs about moving to cali

Sadly I could understand why people could look at it as Pete going for the gold. But I don't actually agree. I'm thinking Pete might simply want to play music full time. Inspection 12 is in school and plays about once or twice every two months. Which is all fine and good. I have every one of their albums and Come Hefe Come, so I'm no hater. (Hater, who the hell says a hater?) But ever if Pete IS looking for money, more power to him. If I could cash in on the idiocy of my peers (I'm 14) I'd do it in a heart beat. I'm not accusing Pete of doing this but if he did, he rocks. This is not selling out in the least, at least until I see a Pete Mosely bobble head. So whatever the situation is, rock on.

i may be out of date with this but...
Alex from YC has still got his other band called "same difference" doesnt he!?
so i guess he doesnt wanna be in YC if this is the case as this is his project,YC are helping him out as much as posible so..there gonna need PETE..just a heads up.
