All of ya'll seem so bent on hating the war in Iraq. John Kerry supported the war. If you really want a candidate who is against the war and who promises to bring home our troops your man is Ralph Nader. Geez

Kerry was for the war in Iraq. He voted for it. That's a fact not something the Republican party made up. He even said in the debate knowing what he knows now he still would have voted for the war.

matt,
please tell me you did not take farenheit 9/11 as pure truth and an "independent's quest at getting out the truth." moore is a powerful filmmaker, but those truths are grossly stretched to the point they aren't truths any more.
those ties to the saudis that moore so vehemently (is that a word?) boasted in his film proved wrong. even moore is quoted as saying that after making the film, there were some mis-quotes and misgivings in the film but that he couldn't change them.
i don't mind that moore put that movie out there because it's america...he can say whatever he wants, and if he wants to make a movie like 9/11, then so be it. my only problem is that people don't take it for the propaganda it is. they take it as unbiased truth when in fact it is nothing more than a tool to get the dumb vote for the democrats in the upcoming election.
also, moore is terribly insensitive...when bush had learned that the world trade centers had been destroyed while he was reading to young children in Florida, moore overdubs "i wonder what he's thinking right now..." and then goes on to talk while bush is sitting there in bewilderment of what he's been told.
maybe he's thinking "I AM THE PRESIDENT OF A NATION WHOSE CITIZENS ARE DYING THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY AND I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW."
"why won't they show the soldiers coffins on television? why is bush hiding them?" moore asks...BECAUSE IT'S DISRESPECTFUL. damn. i'm sorry, but that movie almost made me cry.

You can believe whatever you want, but to me Michael Moore seems like an honest human being who genuinely cares about people who don't have all the advantages that some might have. And well, quite frankly, Bush seems like the exact opposite. You can denounce Moore or the Democrats, but Bush is a piece of shit and a retard... if not for his politics or the way he runs the country, then definitely for the way he conducts himself and speaks. He's an embarrassment... I wouldn't trust him to do anything right. He's one of those people that should have never even had a chance at becoming President. Insensitive??? People are not supposed to be sensitive to the leader of this country. It's not Bushes job to sit there and read with little kids... it's his job to make sure our country isn't in further jeopardy when people are attacking us.

Moore openly admitted on TV that he cut up speeches and scenes and pasted other speeches and scenes together to make them sound and look the way he wanted them to. Is that honest? No It's sad. Bush may not be the best public speaker but we haven't been attacked on American soil again since 9/11 and he has a lot to do with that.

Oh really? How many times did we get attacked while Clinton was in office? I don't think I ever remember any such event happening where 3000 people died. Or even under George Bush I... I'm sure the terrorists attacking had nothing to do with George Bush II... except the proven fact that he ignored intelligence briefings a month before it happened... that's in Farenheit 9/11... is that false?

dude...you can't say that we weren't attacked while clinton or bush senior were in office and say it was because of them...that's like saying i'm not dying right now because i'm typing the number 3...3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3...they're both happening and i can justify one with the other.
also, matt, i don't care if someone's disrespectful to my president...do what you want. just don't disrespect the people that died over in iraq.
props to lucy for backing me up. stay rad, lucy.

We were attacked while Clinton was in office!! In 1993 a big bomb went off and killed 6 people and injured over a thousand at the World Trade Center!! No the building did not fall but that's what the intention was....and ya know what? Clinton didn't do anything about it!!! Maybe if he had done his job 9/11 would have never happened!!! He could have killed Bin Laden on many a day... and as for Moore I watched the words come out of his mouth on TV saying he changed things around to sound the way he wanted. It's better to watch several different news channels to try and get a wide variety of opinions rather than just sticking to one. Cypress props back at ya! I like the way you think...
