this site is (for a lack of a beter turm) DORMANT.its just no good, pete left? get rad out in europe!so wat! thats just gonna get loads of fans and i12 arnt doing anything, its boring i always new it was part time but now its just pants..
nothing new happening "pure volume"..wow same again more fans to support them doing nothing!,,cmon guys!! i love get rad, all the songs are rad old and new,,but with the exception of a couple of songs(again, homesick, nothing to loose) i much prefure" in recovery"i think thats the true i12 style, and the "novelty "country/piano rock songs are good but ged rad has fallen in my opinion,.i still put "in recovery"on and its never lost its power.
again is one of the best songs ever tho i feel!! still stick to what your good at and give us another album or ep soon!!and how bout some shows? cmon why support a dead band its not fair..keep it new keep us keen...F.O.D cover is also amazing! just because labels are for cans you cant change the fact that your a punk band, you always will be.
im just a huge fan that doesnt wanna loose a great band..
sorry....

I don't even want to touch this one but you are sitting here yelling at a band that you claim you are a huge fan of. You can't bash their brand new album and expect them to come back with a comment telling you how they're going to do things to keep it fresh for you. And it is just ridiculous for a band to go back to their old sound, it doesn't happen. There were too many things that changed the band since In Recovery and yet they still managed to pull off, in my opinion, an amazing album. Try supporting them without the selfish tone and maybe you will be taken more seriously.

you dont wanna touch it but you cant help yoursef..just reaching for a 100 posts!! haha
im sorry for being selfish, the fact remains the same,i said i love get rad its just lost its power for me,a few songs are great but in recovery is much beter.they made a contious effort to change the style of this album, its obvious. dan and pete can write great songs,i just wanted more..there not ben fold or anyone else there i12 and should relax there need to be like there idols,.

There's no contribution from Scott and James on Get Rad, and pete came after everything was tracked to add some guitar and piano and some weak vocals.
So stop being a cry baby and understand the huge difference between the albums. I'm sure if Scott was still around they'd still be on fat wreck, so lets let this topic fade away.

Pete really didn't do that much on Get Rad? I'm confused, could you please explain the full story?

Pete was gone with Yellowcard when Dan and I started the album. Dan did most of the rhythm guitars, and of course the bass, and then Pete did guitars, vocals, and piano when he was in town. Dan definitely did the majority of guitars on the record, but Pete also spent a solid number of days in the studio working on the album, so he was definitely a big part of it....its just that he wasnt there the whole time.
