Ok, so what i want to know is when Dan's going to tryout for American Idol. Sure sure it's a lame show and you don't wanna get exploited, but i think it'd be rad to see how far you'd go. you could always drop out when you wanted. I mean, right now the contestants have to right lyrics and melody and none of them have a clue.
so yeah, dan's got the looks and a great voice, i think it'd be funny as hell to see him on american idol.
or i'm just an idiot.

just the thought of me being on that show makes me sick. standing and holding a mic is just not me. i feel naked just standing there with a mic, with the lights on. its weird. to be honest though, i dont think dan has the "it" factor simon is looking for haha. he doesnt seem the idol type, and the more power to him for being that way. though i always wanted to go on just so i could maybe get through the audition then rip up the paper on tv! whoooo, that would great.
did anyone see all those wankers forget the words to their songs tonight? yikes. i felt terrible for them because i know what it feels like to forget the words in a song. but when i do forget the words, i make new ones up that usually fit the bill. sounds like this competition needs more freestyle rappers that can improv on the spot.

I have a feeling those crazy Idol people would edit out the ripping of the paper hehe. A pity, it would be the no1 Idol moment , yeh!

Something marginally related to this happened in France. We have an equivalent to "american idol", it's called "à la recherche de la nouvelle star" which translates to "looking for the new star". We also have in France (although a great deal less known) a great porno-grind-core band called Gronibard (a bit like the infamous american Anal Cunt, for all ye grind-core lovers, which I am not part of personnaly). Well a guy went on the show and said he was going to sing "va faire la vaisselle" (go do the washing up) by Gronibard. And then actually proceeded to singing it.. quite a sight. It's a shame he wasn't really able to back up his stance afterwards.. he tried to say he came to do something against the fact that all the songs sound the same. But one of the guys in the jury said he wasnt doing anything to bring new material by doing that.. which is true. But its also hipocrytical because how can that shitty show claim they're gonna bring anything new to music? anyway, here's the link to the video if any of you guys want to see it, or revise their french, or even learn new curse words. well, if his goal in life is to be the next clay aiken, then go for it. though that guy makes me barf with his over the top flaming charisma. he's a talented singer, but still makes me vomit violently

I think it would be cool, if someone in a band, possibly a punk band, would go on American Idol and show Simon up. He'd probably say they stinked, but they could come back and say I am musician and I already make tons and I don't need your show to get there. Because, Simon is always telling people who can't sing very well, they'll never make it. It's all a lie. All you have to do is learn to play a guitar and even if your voice isn't that good, you can still make. (Even if you learn 4 chords you can still make, but only as a Pop Punk Band, Ha Ha!! They are being mass-produced  by the tons!) And second, why do all those people cry when they have a descent voice and don't make it to the final round. If your on TV, your gonna get exposure, so don't worry, If you don't win Idol, doesn't mean some record company isn't going to call you up and say "We think your good, even if the judges didn't".No really I thought a washed up/ once was musician or somebody, that wasn't terribly famous was going to go on the show and do that. Again I would really love to see what Simon would say, if he didn't know the person was already a semi-famous musician. |

just because youre already semi famous doesnt mean that you cant stink live...a lot of people who are famous do not deserve to be...and some of them actually make millions of dollars...no im not bitter...
oh ya...i really liked that guy who sounded like bing/frank/dean in the first rounds of auditions...but his last performance stunk...he made it to the final 12...lets see how he does
