Just looking at some links from the yellowcard website and came across this: soundcheck.walmart.com/yellowcard.htmlThey do a pretty awesome cover of Missing The War by Ben Folds Five. Give it a try.

ben are you sure pete wrote the b-side? I mean it's obvious he wrote the opening track, but the b-side ( i forget whether it's up or down) doesn't sound Pete to me. I don't think it's a great song at all, and wouldn't be suprised if that's ryan's like the cd says.
oh and yc and walmart... ....

It's funny you say that, cause I was almost positive it was the opposite. Well either way, it doesn't really matter.

ah, so you are kind of full of crap. I thought so. Don't make assumptions and post them as fact. Thanks.

taken from: www.mediumonline.ca/news/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=174&Itemid=48We have pete's piano demos, we have get rad, we know pete's piano in Elegy, we know enough to point out what songs are pete, and Three flights up is definitely one of them. The b-side on the other hand, is a crap song. I don't think pete has his hand in that one, all I have are hours and hours of i12 music to back it up.

Yeah, except the majority of i12 music, definitely NOT written by pete. And I was TOLD that Pete wrote Three Flights Down, so yes, I would post it as fact, because the person who told me is someone who usually has everything straight.

I don't doubt your sources, I'm admittingly only guessing who wrote what. And in the case of similar song titles, I see it easy for mistakes to come up. Even without the similar name, I remember before In Recovery was released, there was confusion of between the titles for Secure and Hear Anything because of a labeling mistake on the free fat comp. So stupid shit happens. Maybe Pete will grace this board and clear things up. I'm still curious about why pete didn't sing on ocean avenue, or why sean doesn't have any leads on the new album.

My guess is that he didn't sing on Ocean Avenue because he wasn't a member of the band at that time. As far as Sean not singing any lead parts on the new album, my guess there would be because he didn't have much of a hand in writing the songs. Except for orchestral parts.

ringo had virtual nothing to do with the songs he sings on. I just get sick of ryan's voice sometimes, i feel it's too pop punky for the "rock" type album they indended, but anyways, sean is pretty good.

I definitely agree with most of what you said. Haha.

Aye, when I typed my post I switched the names of the songs around...at any rate, the lyrics at least to the b-side are acredited to Ryan. I haven't heard the song yet...can someone send it to me?

yeah it's a good album but it's not anything remarkable - they've changed which is good, bands need to keep changing and doing different stuff...
it's not like a really deep album or really defines them, it doesn't rock that hard but i still think it's ok. it's kind of unoffensive to listen too but doesn't get you excited or hairs on the back of your neck.
