What are everyone's opinions on what is going to be the next big thing following this seemingly endless and overpopulated melodic hardcore trend?

Why do you consider melodic hardcore a trend? I don't really listen to it, so I'm curious. I definitely don't hear it all over the radio or anything. Rap still seems to be quite the trend right now.
