help with avatar please

Ive been trying to get my avatar to work on here, but its not. I tried the help page, but of course it doesn't mention avatars. I have two versions of my av uploaded onto a geocities site, in case a .png wouldn't work, i had a .bmp, but neither one will work. can anyone help me please?

are you sure you typed the url in right? i don't see the www, and it doesn't show up when i paste it in the browser.

edit: err.. nevermind.
