As most of us know the former member of Heatmiser and brilliant solo artist is no longer with us. Two stab wounds to the chest. Some say suicide, but there is evidenc pointing to murder. Although not hard, it is still evidence. Personally I think he was murdered, any thoughts?

I only heard he committed suicide, I never heard about the circumstances surrounding it. No matter how he died, it's still a great loss.

It is indeed a great loss, but after reading a lot of different views on it, I'm leaning towards actual murder. It just seems to suspicious not to be. Hence why the case is still open.

i was told about him by some guy a few years back i guess after he heard some acoustic stuff i wrote. he said, check this guy out cause youd probably really like him. so i did, got into a few songs for a while like last call. but after a while i honestly got bored of them. though i still really like independence day. maybe he has a lot of better stuff that ive never heard. but oh well. suicide, murder, fame. it comes with the territory i guess

Back to what deathbyaltoids said, I think he was suicidal. However just like many middle school and high school students they're all "so tortured". I think Elliott was someone who wrote about and toyed with the idea of suicide but was too weak to actualyl do it himself.
