great synth-pop band...80s throwback...sorta depeche mode-ish on some slower songs

kinda hard to find...they are on a lot of electro comps and such...their album is called we are eyes, we are builders

New Achilles Heel is definately worth snagging. I got it Thursday and love it, maybe more then Control? As for Soviet, I mentioned them earlier in this thread like months ago, and hopefully now people will pick up on how FUCKING groovy they are. Check out Soviet if you, they're a treat.

I don't know if this has already been said or not but Waking Ashland is coming to town I think June 24th with The Softer Side (Tims other band)....I hear they are playing at Jack Rabbits...so everyone check out thesofterside.net for the details and updates.......

The bass player from WA is an I 12 fan so everyone pull out their I 12 shirts and sport them.

does anyone listen to drag the river? it's a country band with some guys from armchair martian and all. i know someone before me mentioned armchair martian, and statistically someone here has to like all, so..

samiam is also a really good band who has a three cd boxset on interpunk for 10 bucks.

howdy! first i just want to thank everyone for giving me something to do for the rest of the summer! after reading this i found that i havent heard of 232 bands listed so i am making it my mission to listen to them cuz hey i might like em. shout outs to lordrings55 (for including flogging molly! i love them! they crack me up!) and owen for mentioning muse. they are one of my top bands. others not mentioned that i jam to are :
