Anyone heard the new Julius Airwave album, "Dragons are the New Pink"? It is great. Rick the lead singer gave me a copy today and I lvoed every minute of it. Really good stuff. Check them out. No website yet but they are playign at Jack Rabbits on the 30th. I'm probably going.

p.s. i like the asian man records guy mike park's CD. it's a happy little record.
and the dresden dolls is awesome piano theatre-y stuff. and the rachels is a RAD band. and pretty girls make graves. and all girl summer fun band.
and i can never get the rapture out of my head...because they rule.

Ok, so looking back on it, I probably should not have written a whole paragraph about how much I hate Nickel Creek... some people obviously like them and it was wrong of me to go off on them in such a negative way. So, I'm not taking back what I said, but I do regret posting my opinion for everyone to read. Anyway, later.

personally i like the fact you posted a negative opinion about something. i've notice alot of people in bands wont do this because they think it will turn people off to their music. band members are people too. I agree |

im sure most, if not all of you will not know one of these artists is, but ill tell the story anyways. a few years ago, a big canadian artist named mathew good, took a shot at nickleback saying how he thought they were pretty terrible. well, chad from nickleback responded in a magazine article saying how he would kick matt goods ass if he ever saw him. then matt good responded and said, "i dont know why just because im famous means im not allowed to have an opinion"
probably the smartest thing i had ever heard.
anyone looking for a good listen, check out "matthew good" or "matthew good band"

matt good is alright from time to time. i dont like how chad had to resort to a physical threat. matt good was right nickelback does suck.

I completely agree with you. Nickelback does suck. Sorry if I offend anyone but Chad has the most horrible voice I have ever heard. And I give Matt props for being honest about his opinion. Maybe Chad just needs to calm down and shut up.  |
