About time you got that thing done. Hit me up Grizzle, or drop me an email. JasnJones@gmail.com. I'm back in Jax for a few weeks.
Oh, and you're riding down to Orlando with Pete and I for that Hiero show Aug 9th. Just so you know.

Tim, where did you record this? Bleeding Sky or Vision Sounds? Just wondering so I can get a bearing on how drums might sound recorded at Vision Sounds.
P.S. It sounds great...I'm putting my order in tomorrow for the new album.

Thanks guys-Ryan, I tracked the drums at Bleeding Sky Studios. We tweaked the drum sounds for a while once we got to Vision. Paul said the overall sound would have been a little better if we did everything at Vision...but we were trying to save some money and stuff in the process. And we got the pressed copies of the cd's in 2 days ago, so if anyone wants to support us feel free (we got some debts from everything). You can go to our website ( www.thesofterside.net ), or our myspace page for info on orderding the album.

took a long long time for my cd to arrive, i think my order was forgotten, but all is forgiven cos i have it now and it's really really awesome. thanks a lot tim, you're the man. please keep recording this type of stuff. at least when nothing is happening in i12 world we have softer side to keep us going - and i don't mean that like softer side are backup or something, but it's just music in the same excellant style.

Thanks a lot Jonah...I'm glad you like it so much. Our guitarist Scott was in the hospital for a long time recently (somebody posted it on the message board here I think), and he handles all of the shipping and stuff with our cd's and all of that (plus he's one an all around great guy), so I'm pretty sure thats why it took so long to get it. he had no way to send it or even check the orders for a while. Sorry about the delay but thanks a lot for the compliments on the album. We spent a good amount of time on it and its cool to hear positive feedback about it.

So how is Softer Side? And Scott, I haven't talked to him in awhile.

we havent played in a while because Scott had to move back to Boston after his emergency surgery, and Brian is in school in Detroit right now, so its hard to play but we want to when they're back in town for a little. Scott has to have another follow up surgery in a little less than 2 weeks so wish him luck. He's been doing pretty well though in recovering so far.

ok tim so i know nothing much happens with i12 these days and you're prob pretty bored of people asking but you guys must have caught up recently, what with the show and everything. have pete and dan and yourself arranged anything for the future. i mean albums, shows, anything... it's hard when you're into a bad you consider to be by far the best you've ever heard (i mean to me nothing comes close and i do listen and like a lot of music) and it's ok listening to those great albums over and over but it's such a loss to the world that i12 can't put more stuff out and get some real recognition. do you all still want to do more with i12 or has everyone put it down to a christmas show band now?
now pete is in such a big band does he see i12 as serious as he used to?
i know this is the same old ground i just thought you all might of spoke over christmas and you'd maybe have some more hope for all of us!!
Thanks

Tim, I don't know if I have you to thank, but I just ordered the Softer Side record a week ago, and I just got it today. Thanks for the quick shipment! I've only listened to a song so far, but it's amazing. Way to go. :-)
