I may try to re-record it capo'd up a fret or two. The song's in F#, I think, which I'm playing with G shapes half-step down. Which is how I tune my guitar normally. Anyway, I'll try to capo it and see what I can come up with.

I really liked that cover, and I also like the suggestions given for singing.

Matt (and anyone else here) I was just wondering if you have any tips for improving my singing voice. I would really like to be a good singer for songwriting, but my voice is flat and I don't like my singing tone. I've tried singing along to my favourite albums but that doesn't seem to work. Do you have any tips? Thanks.

Take voice lessons in school. Practice without music. Sing to tuners, the ones that play the pitch.





Basically, practice makes perfect.
