Im not so sure if this is true or not, but a friend of mine says that he used to go to shows at Jackrabbits where inspection 12 would headline and yellowcard would open for them. If that is true, than its kinda funny how things have turned out. Can someone tell me about that?

Yeah thats true. When we went on tour with them, we rotated off on who would headline every night. Of course that wouldnt happen now, cuz they would have to play last, but back then it was totally up to the bands.
Another example of how it doesnt always matter how huge you are in deciding the order of bands at a show: Last year we played a show with Yellowcard and Story of the Year in Orlando, and we played after Story of the Year. Just thought that was kinda funny cuz they were on mtv and stuff and we just joined the tour for one show. Not that it meant anything, just shows you that anything can happen with order of bands and stuff at shows.

Yellowcard getting bigger than I 12 has nothing to do with whose better or not... YC sold out to teeny bopper little girls, and I 12 didn't. Enough said.

Whoa, that's sweet! I bet you guys felt pretty awesome headlining that show and playing with Story of the Year and Yellowcard. I think more shows should work out like that. Inspection 12 headlining!

I know you're excited to hear that i12 played with yellowcard. But didn´'t you see that tim wrote that i12 and yellowcard went on tour together and rotated who headlined. so honestly, i pretty sure they didn´t give a shit about playing with yellowcard since they played nationally and locally together for years. Also i12 mentored yellowcard.
I'm sure everyone except Tim didn't a rats ass about playing with story of the year, formally big blue monkey. Those guys blow, whether you agree or not, i´m sure dan and pete feel the same. Now Tim is a little more open minded to these up and coming bands then anyone i've heard in the band.
sorry

Actually, if I recall correctly, it was I12 who was late to that show. I think their car broke down on the way back from Gainesville, and the AAA guy took forever to show up, or never did show up, if I remember right. They barely made it back in time. But it was still an awesome show.

Actually.. I remember that.. and Flower if ya think about it, I know it was a busy summer for us... (wow an adventure) .. but if ya remember, I12 got added on the Tampa Warped Tour date.. and broke down on the way home.. the Gainesville show was the night before, if I'm not mistaken... so I think that's what you're thinking of.... "here's my maracas I'll let you shake them".. remember that? ...good times.

Yep, you guys are right. We played Tampa Warped Tour that morning, and then broke down on I-75 a little ways from Gainesville. We sat on the side of the highway for hours waiting for the AAA guy. Our good friend Langston (who was in Gainesville) picked us up in a pickup truck and drive us all the way to Jackrabbits. We were all packed in that truck, with our equipment packed in the back...that was a crazy day. The exact date was July 29th, 2001...I remember that cuz my 21st birthday happened while we were playing at Jackrabbits. Also, I remember we woke up the next morning and drove basically back to Tampa, cuz we had a show that next night in St. Pete....man those days were busy.
Also, Miles-I'm not sure the other bands who played that night. Maybe since we got there so late and missed all of them, but yeah, Just us and yellowcard is all I know for sure.

I remember some weird band played after YC but before I12. I remember hating them. I think they played down the road and asked or were asked to play to kill time. But that was a damn good show, even for YC.

Scott, I wasn't trying to dis I12 in the least, I was just saying that I think it would have been fun. If they didn't then oh well. Besides, if you nor I12 doesn't like Story of The Year, thats cool, neither do I, but they are getting kind of big, which must mean that someone out there must like em. Like I said earlier, I think more shows should work out with Inspection 12 headlining!
