I know I'm just a lowly guitar player, but I love Bonham and everything he ever came up with. I think he changed not only the sound of rock drums, but the way they are played in general. His pocket is huge... Bonham is hands down my favorite drummer ever. If anyone hasn't seen the new Zeppelin dvd it's way sick... go check it out. Later.

I have that DVD, Matt...it is very very rad.
Let it just be known that after watching it I attempted the Moby Dick solo. Unless you are John Bonham, do not try it...it will only leave you frustrated and depressed.
Everyone in that band was amazing...it was like a freaking All-Star band...Bonham on drums, Page laid down some of the greatest blues licks I've ever heard, Jon Paul Jones is one of the most underappreciated bassists on the planet because he was so solid and just plain good, and Robert Plant was one of the flashiest, one of the most solid front men ever.
I-12...do a Led Zeppelin cover at your next show (if there is a next show) or even just a jam, like these guys did it. I think it'd be cool to hear a Pop/Rock jam inspired by Zeppelin.
P.S. Can I get some news concerning the rumors on whether or not we're getting a new CD.

I think that John Paul Jones get the mvp award... not only was he laying it down bigtime on bass guitar, but on alot of tunes, which most people don't know, he was playing keyboards and using bass pedals. He did all of the keys on those original records and arranged/played alot of the string stuff on keyboards like a Mellotron. I think Page was a good player, but to me, his writing is what really shines. Some of the chords he came up with are awesome... Rain Song for example. And yeah, that Moby Dick is sick. Um, there hasn't been any recording done for a new cd, but knowing Dan I'm sure he's constantly coming up with new material. I would look foward to doing a new cd... I'm sure it'll happen eventually. Later.
