if you mean they sound like rbf in the sense that they have a horn section.... then i guess thats the only link.... i dont know how else you would mean? unless you didnt actually hear it.
there's not a ska beat in LMB's music.
its Scott Klopfenstein's extremely talented piano playing, his beautifully powerful voice and melodic tunes that remind me of I12.
they sound completely nothing like rbf. except for the song Drunk Again which Scott wrote for rbf's Cheer Up album.
but good!

No, actually their vocalist sounds just like Aaron. I would never compare one band to antoher just because of instrumentation.
Plus I wasn't insulting the band, I like their sound. I think a lot of bands are great that have powerful melodies and amazing piano players, but I don't think I could ever compare any of them to I12. Recommend them because they're great musicians? Definitely.
