- Would you ever consider making a shirt that would have written in the back "I won't be a martyr it's too overrated"? cause that must be one of the best lines I've heard in your music (and in music in general actually). I second that... awesome line. I'd buy a shirt that had that line on it in a heartbeat.

I agree with Kara-Personally my favorite kind of drummer is one who play with a lot of power and who's really solid and in the groove...I think that the drummer for Thrice is. I can also understand how people may not like him if they prefer a really creative and innovative drummer who's doing lots of technical stuff all the time. I love listening to that kinda drummer as well and I think that they can be great if they do it well and it fits the songs that are written. So to some it up-basically I like any solid drummer who's drumming fits his or her's band's music well.
About James-Yeah he left for school. I never heard that he was threatened by his parents, so I don't know if thats true or not.

Ok, so I know this may sound ignorant coming from a guitar player, but I've thought long and hard about it... I'm going to have to say that I think John Bonham is the best drummer... ever. I know there are a lot of great drummers, but I'm watching this new Led Zeppelin DVD and it is awesome. Anyway, I'd like to hear opinions on people's favorite drummer(s). peace.

hey thanx David.. other lines I really like are "and I saw just how ptrententious I could be" and "honour was lost, rumours were true..." (question is: what rumours? ). Most i12 lyrics are very good in my book.. pretty "simple" and very true, very honest.. (well not THAT simple.. but you know what I mean, they seem simple) anyway, questioooooooooon! I read on this very nice site called "In A Room Filled With Darkness" (which I believe is represented around here buy its own webmaster, no less ) that Doppelganger was an answer (or a attack?) to Avondale by Yellowcard. Would any details about this be available? (though this question must have been asked one thousand times.. sorry.)

(though this question must have been asked one thousand times.. sorry.) no way, man...doppelganger has been around a LOT longer than avondale. its more likely that avondale was an answer to doppelganger, but i think it was just dan and ryan had a little falling out, and ryan chose to use doppelganger's lyrics against dan because they fit the situation so well. and jon, it's not very rad when you can't got onto the site because the bandwidth limit is exceeded.

axx, my friend, you are mistaken. The only thing I mention on my site about that, which I think you're referring to, is under the lyrics section. Under the lyrics for "Avondale" by Yellowcard it says "Ryan Key's response to Doppelganger.

ok ok ok i know its not rad that the site is down, we get freaking 3GB of transfer and ithought that would be enough, but apparently its not enough for all the i12 fanatics of the world. the new server has a mind of its own and it just booted us when we went over, no warnings, nothing..i'm gonna get the bw increased though most likely if these shananigans happen again.
i think the new month starts feb 1 (duh) so the site will be back up then if not before.

I'm French! (ok, no one cares.. and I'm also Australian, so that make me half half I suppose) abou Doppelganger: thanks, that clears it up.. yeah I wasnt all that sure of what I had read and I must admit I didnt bother to go check either.. but I was wondering if someone from the band, probably more Dan than anyone else, could give us any "special info" about that.. its not all that common to have people aswering each other through songs.

ok, first question. is inspection 12 going in any particular direction with their music right now? or are you guys just kinda writing anything you think sounds good regardless of style/continuity?
secondly a question for Pete. What do you think of the name Pete? have you ever wished you had another name? ive always thought of Pete/Peter as kinda a nerdy name and wished i had a cooler name. 'cept my middle name is joseph, so i can be called pj which always seems cool. but ive never, ever been called pj in my life. what are your thoughts? i know this is a lame question but there was only one other guy name Peter in Highschool and people called him pj so it doesnt even count. so i always get excited when i find out someones name is Peter.

I got one, kinda: "Forget that fair young wench. I want the King's behind. I'll put it in his bottom, Make him cry until he's blind. Cry until he's blind. Scream until he's hoarse. My sword is long, you have no shield, and you shall feel my force." so..... steve was gay then?

hey im just going back to the drummer isues..
im a fan of power and percusion also,to kinda discuss TIMS point "power" i beleive anyROCK drummer has to have power,or he/she is in the wrong buisness..any tech drummer that isnt powerfull aswell, is sacraficing power, and strugling for speed n maybe trying too hard to show off maybe..
a real good drummer is DERRICK PLOURDE..from RKL and bad astronaut, and the former lagwagon drummer i believe..he was on trashed..he is much beter than BIG DAVE raun whos the current lagwagon drummer(also a former member of RKL) DERRICK PLOURDE...NOW... he is tech and pure power!! NICE. and live also not jst in the studio..alot of drummers arnt as solid live..DAVE RAUN is not as good live as his studio wrk....
i think one of the best solid drummers old skool style is NIKO MCBRAIN of iron maiden!! AWSOME!!
howd ya like those apples tim?
