Does anyone else think that Homecoming and Lost at Sea sound like completely different bands? I think Lost at Sea is genius. I like Homecoming, but it really just sounds like catchy hyperactive pop punk with good lyrics...Its been a while since I've heard it, so maybe I don't know what I am talking about.

I fell in love with Lost at Sea...Homecoming not so much...but they don't sound like 2 different bands...just a much more mature richer sound...and Homecoming is more upbeat while Lost at Sea much heavier...I've really been digging Back and Forth lately

My first show was at jackrabbits with Craig's Brother and Dan was there and sang on masonic. I guess that was like almost 4 years ago but that was when I decided for sure that music is what I wanna do with my life so yeah, cb deserves recognition for such diverse (homecoming to lost at sea) and clever music. I can't wait to see what their new material will sound like!

I'm thinking that it'll be like the progression between HC and LaS all over again, like they'll work even harder on perfecting the songs in all aspects, setting moods and such. I mean, HC is a damn fine album, but 90% of the songs has just power chords and octave riffs. LaS doesn't have a lot of that, and Im thinking that the new material will be even more technical in that aspect.
Then again, I might be totally off base... They do have new guitarists, and it's probably (some of) Ted's solo material they're working on, so there's no telling how it'll sound...
