Hi everyone how's it going? I was wondering what everyone's favourite song by Inspection 12 is. My favourites include: 1. Feelin' Like Freddie 2. I'm Fine I Can Drive 3. Secure 4. Red Letter Day

Only Human is great, but I think I like the new version Coup De Grace even better. I also think Great Scott, Caving In, Secure and Hear Anything are awesome as well. It's difficult to choose.

what do you think is better... Great Scott with violin playing the "back to the future" riff (2nd version) or on guitar (1st version) ??

I thought it was on Step Into the Fire, but I could be wrong. I like the idea of the guitar playing it better, but the version on In Recovery is much better. I understand that Dan was probably trying to pay tribute to Alan Silvestri, who wrote the score to Back to the Future, by doing a string section, but you'd need at least 50 strings to really sound like a movie score. I know Dan's mentioned that he likes Alan Silvestri's work alot.
Silvestri also did Forrest Gump, Contact, Predator and every Bob Zemeckis movie for that matter. He's really inspiring because he has a background in jazz guitar like me and he had never orchestrated anything until his first job doing scores!!! Since I'm trying to get into that myself, it's good to know that if I just start doing it, I can probably learn from my own experience. Anyway, enough ramblings.
