do you know what song Dan was playing on the acoustic guitar? I'd like to see the whole take on that.

do you know what song Dan was playing on the acoustic guitar? I'd like to see the whole take on that. It wasn't a song I'd heard...the only part you can really hear him singing the lyrics are "It takes me where I don't want to be" ...then, it fades out to him talking again.

maybe chad carter can hook us up with the whole song. I have a feeling it was a Get Rad song that wasn't quite ready to be recorded. I remember Dan mentioning another song that didn't make Get Rad. so hmmm

Is Chad the guy who made the DVD? If so, just want to let him know he did do a great job with the DVD and I appriciate his effort to get it out to us out-of-staters.
That being said, regaurdless of wether or not that song he plays in the interview is an origional i12 song or a cover, I'de love to hear it in it's entirety. So if thechad has the video lying around I wouldn't mind hearing it. I can offer to host any files if need be..?

I don't think it's Better Nights. Tim said it's one of the new songs that they're working on now. That interview was done at Chad's house and yeah he probably has the whole thing and should hook us up with the whole song.

Better Nights is a song that was gonna be on Get Rad but Dan really wasn't finished with it.

Hey guys, I am really, really stoked that you enjoyed the DVD so much. It was the culmination of the work of several people, so I don't deserve all the credit. Read the credits on the cover, just so you see everyone's names.
Right now I am studying in the South of France. I'll be here until the end of May, after the Canne Film Festival. I do have alot of extra footage, way more than I could ever really organize. I'll look through it when I get back, and if there is anything thats REAL good that got left out, I might post a link to it or something. MAYBE!!! To be honest, I tried to get the best of everything on the DVD.
As far as that song that Dan was playing, I didn't record it all. You have heard the best parts. He's changed some of it since then, the rhythm is different. It's pretty incredible, but you would have to talk to him about hearing it.
And that interview was not at my house, it was in a TV studio at Flagler College down in St. Augustine. I went to school there so I guilted the professors into letting me use the studio. Not that it really matters, but I thought you might like to know.
If anyone else has questions feel free to post them. This is the first time I have ever really gotten feedback on my work, so keep posting. Thanks!
Au revoir, Chad

If anyone is intrested, I made an MP3 out of the You Can Call Me Al cover off the DVD. Nothing special, but I tend to do this when I get a hold of videos and stuff.
Anyway, here's the link if you want it: (http://multi.djw84.com/files/al.mp3)
