Miles - just half joking here...Maybe you need to check out the spiderman/yc thread, but Gifts and Curses has a dumbed down ripoff of the intro of Version 2.0 by SB. Maybe it's just because I play guitar, but I think Ben who does the fan site hears it too. Kinda minor I guess, but I sure hear it.

okay being the music junky that i am, i've got to get in on this one. here's a few, let me know what you think. STEEL TRAIN - awesome acoustic group with lots of talent and great influences. www.purevolume.com/steeltrainSAY ANYTHING - this is one band i think dan would absolutely love, really unique style and composition. www.purevolume.com/sayanythingA THORN FOR EVERY HEART - young band jumping on the melodic hardcore bandwagon. even though i'm extremely over the genre, these guys play sickly tight. www.athornforeveryheart.comLEARNING TO FALL - the next big thing for the jacksonville scene. www.purevolume.com/learningtofall

i saw steel train play with Finch in vegas. the crowd starting throwing shit and boo'in them, but they were totally rad. i felt sorry for them cause they were really good musicians but all the 13 year olds going to see finch didn't appreciate good music.

Skirtbox? Sounds like an euphemism for vagina. Well at least it's my new term for it.

One of my favorite bands is Clean Getaway, they're from Jacksonville, Orange Park to be exact. Check them out cleangetaway.net . They have some awesome demos and are in the process of making a full length.
