I gotta agree with Mr. Dave, best Weezer CD since Pinkerton. Rivers' vocals are much better on Make Believe than Green or Maladroit, and the guitar solos are awesome. Backing vox are pretty good too...
Weezer just sounded bored to me on Green and Maladroit; on Make Believe, it sounds like they're into their own music again.
Love it.

Like De-Loused, Frances the Mute is a concept album. I'm not familiar enough with the "story," (so I won't try to go into that) but the musicianship is very tight on the cd. The guitarwork is much more technical than it was on De-Loused, but still retains the "Mars Volta" feel. The songs flow very well from one into the next, and the order of the songs compliment eachother.
Francesfeels very well thought out, contains soaring, explosive moments, and is just as powerful as "De-Loused." It seems to me that the Mars Volta has made progress with their new cd, and it's all for the better.
Frances the Mute is mature, intricate, experimental, and enthralling.
Needless to say, I like it a lot, and think you should give it a shot.

Ben still has "it."
I can't wait for the CD to come out.

It's always nice to see Craig's Brother back in action. It's a pretty solid EP; I just hope a full-length is in the works.

Amen to that!
Do you know if the full length is gonna have all new songs or some from the EPs on there too?

Ben just recently released his second EP (Sunny 16) in his three EP series (the first being Speed Graphic)...
To those of you that have heard them... do you like them? I've heard a couple of the songs off of Speed Graphic, and if you ask me, Ben still has "it."

Or how about possible plans for a new second guitarist? Anything of that nature?
I'm pretty curious about the future of i12, and how Takeover is treating you guys.

I want to buy one so bad... started a thread (on the forums) almost a year ago now about wanting one If there's any possible way I can get one mail order, it'd make my year.

I'd like to join the masses of people who'd like to get a copy of the DVD, but are slowed down by distance. I live in Virginia and would love to get my hands on the DVD... I've been pining for it for years, seeing how i12 isn't gonna be in my area anytime soon.
If I can get it, I'd die a happy man.

I got Get Rad (and In Recovery!) at a local independant CD store near me. Both were 12 bucks, and both were last copies that the store had. However, I went back recently, and they now have a few more copies of Get Rad (I think 3).
No other stores had it though.

Definitely a great gateway song. It's all I need to get anyone to listen to i12.
